Verdaguer, Vilassar de Mar
In the heart of Vilassar de Mar old town is the Verdaguer. Located on the ground floor of a modernist house, it specialises in Catalan gastronomy. The building was constructed at the beginning of the last century and is beautifully decorated. All the food is made from fresh produce and sourced locally. Make sure you accompany your meal with their wide selection of wine, it is all delicious! The terrace is a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner with family or friends during summer or winter (when they out out the patio heaters). It’s popular so we recommend you book in advance.

Can Rin, Cabrils
Can Rin is located in the heart of Cabrils in an old manor house built at the beginning of the 19th century. They serve the best Mediterranean cuisine in Cabrils, some would argue even in Maresme. They offer a different menu every season depending on what they can source locally. The terrace is perfect on a sunny day or warm evening to enjoy brunch, lunch, dinner or a cocktail after dinner. Rosa Nonell and Mònica Oleart, mother and daughter team, are a benchmark in gastronomy in the Maresme region. Located in Port Balís the restaurant was first opened in 1993. A family restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, market produce and fresh fish, it is very popular with the locals. It’s ideal for a long leisurely weekend lunch or a special occasion. Yume, Vilassar de Mar
Yume is located in a pretty square in the old town of Vilassar de Mar, less than a five minute walk from the beach. Yumé has a cosy room inside and and lovely terrace overlooking the square. As well as their regular menu it’s worth checking out the specials board. They offer a catering service in the Maresme area and also offer take away and delivery services. There is a car park just underneath the square and plenty of space for children to play in the square so it’s handy for families. There are also branches in Sant Vicenç de Montalt and Calella.

Blau de Mar is located on the seafront in Arenys de Mar in an old Indian house built at the beginning of the 20th century. The building has several indoor dining rooms and terraces ideal for families or groups of all sizes. It serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine lovingly made from local produce. The paella in particular is one of their stand-out dishes. There is car park located just 50 metres from the restaurant.
