Rosalía Suárez is a Spanish Teacher in Maresme for Foreigners, Catalan Sign Language Interpreter and Speech Therapy Specialist. Coming from the southwest of Spain, like many of her compatriots, she moved to Barcelona where she continued her training and accumulated 16 years of experience working in schools in Catalonia, in Primary Education with children, teenagers and adults, and in recent years as a Spanish teacher in Maresme.

In 2022, I decided to leave behind the hectic city life and embrace the charm of the Costa del Maresme. Here, I’ve found the perfect place to develop my profession, connecting the international community with the local culture. Having experienced the challenges of adapting to a new place myself, I understand the challenges of integration and the importance of professional support to make that transition smoother and more accessible.

In my free time, I love connecting with nature and exploring the world around me. Swimming in the sea, paddle surfing, mountain biking, and hiking are some of my favourite ways to recharge, while travelling allows me to discover new landscapes and immerse myself in different cultures. Yoga is my regular practice for maintaining balance between body and mind, and cinema and reading are my windows into life’s deeper meanings. These passions inspire me to create authentic, meaningful experiences for those starting a new chapter in Spain.
