Living in a country different from your own means building many things from the ground up. Paperwork, appointments, schools, doctors, childcare, deliveries, suppliers and dozens of small everyday details, often in a language that isn’t your own.

And while you’re building this new life, there’s something especially important: having a home where you can truly relax.

Silvia Sanchez understands because she has lived it too. Silvia is a mother and has managed homes in different countries. She knows what it means to adapt to a new culture while trying to make family life run naturally and smoothly.

That experience is exactly what led her to create NIDO.

Before founding NIDO, Silvia spent years working in production and project management, coordinating teams, clients and complex operations where every detail mattered. She learned how to organise, anticipate needs and make many different moving parts work together seamlessly.

Her own personal health journey also led her to explore another essential dimension of the home: wellbeing.

She studied nutrition, naturopathy, Reiki and wellness coaching, and came to understand just how deeply our surroundings influence the way we feel, how we rest, how we connect with one another and how we experience everyday life.

That’s why NIDO brings these two worlds together.

Silvia helps families create beautifully organised, thoughtfully managed homes designed to make everyday life easier while becoming healthier, more sustainable and more nurturing places to live. Services are available in English, Spanish and Catalan, making it especially accessible to international residents and families settling into life in the Maresme.

NIDO is particularly suited to people who value quality, discretion and a personalised approach, but don’t necessarily need a full-time household manager. Clients can book support by the hour, half-day or full day, either on an ad-hoc basis or as an ongoing arrangement.

At its heart, NIDO is about creating a different relationship with the home: less time managing it, more time living in it.
