Graphic Design and Art Direction
María de Gibert is originally from Barcelona and currently lives in the Maresme region, where she has found the perfect balance between living closer to nature, with both the sea and the mountains nearby, while still enjoying the vibrant cultural life of her hometown, to which she remains deeply connected.
She studied at Escola Massana and later completed a master’s degree in graphic design at Escola Elisava, graduating in 2008. After beginning her professional career in Barcelona, her professional aspirations led her to Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2012, where she lived and worked for six years, broadening her perspective and experience in the international field.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various design studios and communication agencies, which has allowed her to explore different approaches to design. With more than 18 years of experience in the industry, she began working full-time as an independent professional in 2022, embracing a more personal practice aligned with her values. She mainly works in editorial design and corporate identity, and her primary goal is to help clients through visual solutions that provide value, strengthen their identity, and contribute to their growth.
Her interests are especially focused on the creative field: art, culture, and design, as well as everything related to knowledge and self-care from a holistic perspective. She feels a particular affinity for projects committed to social causes, the environment, and animal welfare, aimed at generating a positive impact and contributing to the common good.
One of the things I value most about my profession is the constant learning. Every project is an opportunity to discover new worlds, understand different realities, and continue nurturing curiosity.
