Good quality dishes made with premium products at this bistro style bar
Cal Barquer is a local Alella restaurant that combines the perfect blend of a Mediterranean village bar and an elegant French bistro. Situated in the pretty Plaça de l’Ajuntament in the centre of Alella, Cal Barquer offers breakfast, lunch and dinner (only Friday and Saturday evenings) with their own interpretation of authentic Iberian cuisine. Without being pretentious, here you’ll find great food made from premium products and a friendly service.
Cal Barquer is fairly small Alella restaurant so make sure you book to avoid disappointment. You’ll find free parking just past Marfil on Rambla Àngel Guimerà and also close to Companiya d’Alella on Carrer de la Riera Fosca. There’s also parking at the Municipal market in the centre of the village. This town’s busy plaza is ideal for people watching and letting the kids run riot whilst enjoying a sneaky pre-lunch Vermut with a couple of their finest tapas such as jamon ibérico, croquetas del rostit or mejillones.
Cal Barquer is a restaurant and bar with cuisine based on premium products forming contemporary dishes with sharing options. Take-away is available as well.
