As part of the events organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Picasso’s death, the Fundació Palau present the exhibition “Picasso on the retina”. “Portraits of Catalan artists” curated by Eduard Vallès and Sebastià Sánchez Sauleda. In 1971, Josep Palau i Fabre published the book “Picasso and his Catalan friends”, a work that laid the foundations and provided numerous clues to trace Pablo Picasso’s relationships, friendships and complicity with many of the protagonists of the turn of the century in Catalonia. This path follows the exhibition project that the Fundació Palau are presenting at the Palau Foundation, consisting of discovering and sharing with the public how the Catalan artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries saw and shaped the figure of Pablo Picasso over the years.
