La Verema – Alella

Alella’s 49th wine festival known locally as La Verema is one of Maresme’s most fun events of the year. Visitors get the chance to taste wines and learn more about the wine-making process thanks to a gastronomy fair, a tapas and wine route, guided tours of the DO’s eight wineries and the wineries’ presentations of their output. Wine novices or people who want to expand their knowledge of the world of wine can take part in a wine-tasting course and competition. There’s also music until the early hours and other local events profiting from the influx of visitors from across the region.
