La Verema, Alella

La Verema in Alella celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with more events and activities than ever before. la Verema is a traditional grape harvest festival held in this former market town every year. Alella is renowned for its wine production, particularly its white wines made from the Pansa Blanca grape, which is unique to this region. The festival, known locally as La Festa de la Verema typically takes place in early September and is one of the most significant cultural events in the area.
