Exhibition: Picasso a la retina. Retrats d’artistes catalans, Caldes d’Estrac

As part of the events organized in 2023 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Picasso’s death, the exhibition Picasso la retina”. Retrats d’artists catalans has been curated by Eduard Vallès and Sebastià Sánchez Sauleda. In 1971, Josep Palau i Fabre published the book “Picasso and his Catalan friends”, a work that laid the foundations and provided numerous clues to trace the relationships, friendships and complicities of Pablo Picasso with many of the protagonists of the turn of the century in Catalonia. This path follows the exhibition project that the fundació is presenting, consisting of discovering and sharing with the public how the Catalan artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries saw and shaped the figure of Pablo Picasso over the years.
