Diada Nacional de Catalunya 2024

Over the years, La Diada has evolved into both a cultural celebration and a political demonstration. It is a day of pride in Catalan culture, language, and identity, featuring events such as concerts, cultural exhibitions, traditional Sardana dancing, and the human towers.  However, it is also a day for political activism, especially among those who support Catalan independence or greater autonomy.

All towns and villages in Maresme will be celebrating La Diada in some shape or form. Check out your local ajuntament‘s website for more details.
