Cara Mar

Cara Mar is a beautiful private studio apartment to rent in Vilassar de Mar, 30 minutes from Barcelona. Owned by two journalists Mariana and Pere, the room has its own entrance and access to shared spaces with the host family and other guests.

The Space

This sunny studio room is a relaxed, welcoming place to stay just a short walk from the beach. Overlooking the sea, the space is filled with natural light and is beautifully appointed in a nautical-inspired style. The cosy dining corner would also make an excellent workspace for those looking to work remotely. 

Guest Access

The main entrance is shared with the owners Mariana and her husband Pere, who live downstairs. They will not disturb you, but they love to meet new people and guests and knock on the door for coffee and chat.  If they are not at home, guests are welcome to phone or text them and they are more than happy to help with anything you might need. You may also meet their daughter Lulu and dog Vela who live there.

Other Things To Note

The main entrance is currently under renovation. While the interior of the property itself is not affected, any minor inconvenience is reflected in the nightly rate which is currently slightly discounted.

Due to an ongoing drought, the hot tub wine barrel is not currently in use. The local government may lift water restrictions in the coming months. 

The hosts also have a second holiday rental within their property, Cara Montaña.
