The Pineda de Mar Pine Beach is located in the North of Pineda. It borders the town of Santa Susanna and is clean and well-maintained. There are toilets, bins and some 65 fresh water showers dotted along the attractive seafront promenade where people jog, rollerblade and cycle all year round.
It is one of the most natural and Mediterranean-style beaches in the Maresme, surrounded by a spectacular pine forest.
It is large and the perfect beach to spend the day with family or friends but there is also a quieter area that is ideal for couples.
It also has a nudist area.
Getting to this beach is very easy thanks to the nearby train station and N11 road. Boat trips regularly depart from Pineda de Mar to sights along the coast, up to the Costa Brava.
The main beach is Platja dels Pescadors, which has been awarded a Blue Flag.
Pineda de Mar is also a great sailing base with excellent facilities for those looking to take part in some water sports and the children are very well catered for in the summer holidays thanks to the free programme of activities organised by ‘Pineda Animació’.
